    A senior tech (not a salesperson) walks your home, measures your space, checks insulation, looks at your existing ductwork, and calculates what your home actually needs. Takes 45-60 minutes.

    Written quote with three options

    We give you good/better/best equipment options in writing — not a verbal handshake — with itemized labor, materials, permits, and equipment. Side-by-side so you can see what each tier actually buys you.

  3. 3

    Schedule the install (typically within 1-2 weeks)

    Once you pick an option, we schedule the install. Standard furnace swap-outs take one day; full system or conversion jobs may run 1.5-2 days. We give you a 2-hour arrival window, not a vague 'morning' or 'afternoon.'

  4. 4

    Install day — clean, careful, complete

    Drop cloths over your floors, shoe covers on, old equipment hauled away. We pull the permit, run the new gas/venting/electrical as needed, and don't leave until the system is running, calibrated, and labeled.

  5. 5

    Walkthrough, rebate paperwork, and warranty registration

    Before we leave we walk you through your new thermostat, show you how to change filters, register your equipment warranty, and start the rebate paperwork. You get a job folder with everything you'll need for the next 10 years.

Cooling questions, answered

Central air conditioners typically last 12-17 years. Once an AC passes 10 years — and especially if it's an older R-22 (Freon) system — repair costs climb fast and you're paying significantly more in monthly utility bills than a modern high-SEER replacement would cost. R-22 has also been phased out by the EPA, so refrigerant charges on older units are expensive when available at all.
