We're hiring · Lenawee County, MI

Build a career at the same shop your neighbors trust.

Naugle has been a family-owned HVAC, plumbing, and electric company in Tecumseh since 1980. We're always looking for tradespeople — licensed, apprentice, or anywhere in between — who want stable work, a real career path, and to be home every night.

Why Naugle

The kind of place where techs stay 10, 20, 30 years.

Year-round, local work

HVAC, plumbing, and electric run year-round in Michigan. You're home every night — no out-of-town travel, no week-on/week-off schedule.

Family-owned since 1980

Same family, same shop on S Adrian St. Most of our techs have been here 5, 10, or 20+ years. Stable place to build a career.

Career path that's actually mapped

Helper → apprentice → journeyman → master. We pay for trade-school tuition, EPA / NATE certs, and Lennox / Carrier factory training as you advance.

Real benefits package

Health insurance, paid vacation, 401k with company match, paid uniforms, company truck once you're running service calls, tool allowance, and overtime pay.

Modern tools + tech

Service iPads, route optimization, real dispatch — you're not stuck with a clipboard and a paper map. Lennox Premier Dealer and Carrier Factory Authorized means you get to work on the best equipment.

We treat you like family

Because we are one. The owner's name is on the truck. We know your spouse's name, your kids' names, and we cover for each other when life happens.

Licensed Michigan Electrician

Journeyman or Master license required. Panel upgrades, EV charger installs, generators, lighting, troubleshooting.

No experience needed — we'll train you and pay for your tuition. Show up on time, work hard, and want to learn a trade. We'll do the rest.

Customer Service / Dispatcher

First voice customers hear. Schedule calls, dispatch the right tech, handle billing questions. Office-based, weekdays.

Common questions

Hiring FAQ

Do I need a license to apply?+
Depends on the role. Plumber and electrician positions require Michigan journeyman or master license — that's a state regulation we can't waive. HVAC tech roles need EPA Universal at minimum (you can get this if you don't have it). Helper / apprentice positions are entry-level — no certifications required.
What's the pay like?+
Competitive with the local market — usually above. Specifics depend on role and experience, and we'll go over the full comp package (hourly + overtime + benefits + bonuses) at the interview. Our techs are paid better than they would be at a national franchise, and they keep more of it because the cost of living is lower in Lenawee than in metro Detroit or Ann Arbor.
Do I have to live in Tecumseh?+
No, but you need to be within reasonable commuting distance — most of our service area is within 30 minutes. We dispatch from the Tecumseh shop, and our techs live everywhere from Adrian to Saline to Hudson.
I'm a recent trade-school grad with no field experience. Should I apply?+
Yes. We hire several apprentices a year and pair them with a senior tech for 1-2 years of in-the-field training. If you have the trade-school foundation, the drive, and a clean driving record, we'll teach you everything else.
What's the interview process?+
Phone screen first (15 min), then an in-person interview at the shop with the service manager (45 min), then a half-day ride-along with a senior tech so both sides get a real read on fit. We extend offers within a week of the ride-along.
How long until I hear back?+
We try to respond to every applicant within 2 business days — even if it's a 'not right now.' If you haven't heard from us within a week, call the shop at 517-423-3121 and ask for the service manager.
